Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to locate a wanted fugitive.

The Crowley Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Damaris Harmon, 21 of Crowley. He’s described as a black male, 6’3” in height, weighing 160 pounds, with short black hair. His last known address is 415 W. Andrus in Crowley.

Harmon is wanted for 1 count of First Degree Murder in reference to the homicide of Kenneth Drake which occurred Saturday evening in the 1000 block of W. 7th Street. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating criminal damage which occurred at Louisiana Rice Mill, located at 600 W. 1st St., during the night of July 24, 2014.

Entry was made into the business and several grain silos were opened causing several million pounds of rice to spill onto the ground.  A suspect vehicle described as a black or dark colored full size pickup truck was seen leaving the area heading East on Mill Street.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to locate a wanted fugitive.

Crowley Police needs your help to locate Teaqulia Plowden, black female, 32 years of age. She is described as being 5’06” in height, weighing 232 pounds, with black hair. Her last known address is 1836 Harry Fuselier Dr. in Crowley. She is believed to use alias names.

Plowden is wanted for identity theft, forgery, 5 counts of bank fraud, and unauthorized use of an access card.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a shooting that killed Ryan Gums shortly after 2:00 am on July 14, 2014, in the 1400 block of West Northern Avenue near Buatt Street. Shedrick Robinson, 22 of Crowley has been arrested but police are seeking information on one or two other unidentified suspects that were believed to be involved.

Stolen items include a 14’ Monarch boat & trailer, 8’ single axle utility trailer, 2 red go carts, 5500K Troy-Bilt generator, dark gray ’06 Dodge Ram truck bed, 35 HP Pro-Drive outboard motor, 25 HP Evinrude outboard motor, and several pieces of lawn equipment and hand tools.

Donavan K. Robinson is described as a black male, 30, 5’5” in height, weighing 163 pounds, with short black hair. His last known address is 618 Stagg Ave., in Crowley. Robinson is wanted for Distribution of Crack Cocaine.

Lucinda E. Viator is described as a white female, 31, 5’3” in height, weighing 105 pounds, with long brown hair. Her last known address is 620 S. Ave. K, in Crowley. Viator is wanted for Distribution of Oxycodone.

On April 21, 2014, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of two vehicle burglaries that occurred in the 1100 block of West Mill St., just outside of Crowley. One of the burglaries had forced entry, the other did not. The unknown suspect(s) stole two CB radios.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking for your assistance in solving a rash of residential burglaries.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating several residential burglaries that occurred during daytime hours in the Historical District beginning on May 26, 2014.

Forced entry was made into each residence. Once inside, the suspects stole electronics, firearms, jewelry, and cash. The suspects are described as two black males with short hair, in their late teens – early twenties, and a driver described as a black female. A dark grey four door SUV was seen in the area at the time of the burglaries.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence located in the 400 block of E. 4th St. on Memorial Day, 2014, at approx. 12:20 p.m.

Forced entry was made into the residence. Once inside, the suspects stole a black Beretta 12 gauge shotgun, a wood grain Browning 20 gauge shotgun, a MacBook Pro, an iPad, and other items. The three suspects are described as two black males, late teens – early 20’s, and an unidentified third person. They were seen leaving in a dark grey 4-dr. SUV.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at LK Breaux Construction Co. located in the 200 block of E. Mill St. on May 6, 2014, at approx. 4:30 a.m.

The unknown suspect(s) stole several 2’ lengths of rebar and other various metals. The suspect may have been driving a gold 2000 Chevrolet Impala.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred on 4/20/14, at approx. 5:15 a.m. in the 900 block of N. Ave. E. Entry was made into a white 2011 Chevrolet Traverse and a purse was stolen.

The suspect was riding a bicycle and is believed to be a white male, medium build, late teens or early 20’s.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

Crowley Police are investigating an incident which occurred on April 16, 2014, at approximately 4:00 pm at Wal Mart located at 729 Odd Fellows Rd.

Officers were advised that a bathroom area of the store was set on fire. The fire was extinguished quickly with no serious damage to the store and no injuries were reported.

Crowley Police do need your help to identify a person of interest in this matter. This person of interest is described as a white male, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” in height, weighing approximately 130 – 160 pounds. This person has dark color hair, is clean shaven and has a thin build.

Jessie L. Robinson, 19, of Crowley, is described as a black male, 5’4” in height, weighing 150 pounds, with short black hair. His last known address is 100 Meadows Ln. apt. 59, in Crowley. Robinson is wanted for Distribution of Crack Cocaine.

Darius V. Thomas, 21, of Duson, is described as a black male, 6’1” in height, weighing 125 pounds, with short black hair. His last known address is 220 N. Marigny Circle, in Duson. Thomas is wanted for Distribution of Crack Cocaine.

Crowley Police are investigating the theft of money from an ATM at Iberia Bank located at 576 North Parkerson Ave. On April 11, 2014 at 8:15 am, the victim removed money from his Iberia Bank account. When the victim complected his transaction, he failed to close out the account information. The next person in line discovered that the account remained opened and removed currency from the victims account.

The suspect is described as a light complected black or hispanic female. This suspect has a heavy build with shoulder length black hair. The suspect was observed to be wearing a red dress.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

Crowley Police are investigating a homicide which occurred on Saturday, April 5th. The shooting occurred in the area of North Ave B and West 7th Street at approximately 6:45 pm.

Police responded to the scene and discovered that an individual has been shot in the head. The victim was transported to a Lafayette Hospital where he later died from his injury.  Police believe that the suspect(s) may have been seen either walking or driving a vehicle in the area and need your help to solve this case.

The unknown suspect(s) stole two handguns. One is described as silver over black Kahr 9mm subcompact pistol and the other is a nickel plated .38 Special Smith and Wesson Revolver.

Rayne Store-N-Lock

On March 23, 2014, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a Burglary of a storage unit that occurred at Rayne Store-N-Lock, located in the 1900 block of East Jeff Davis in Rayne.

The suspect’s vehicle was captured on video surveillance and is described as a white GMC SUV with a sun roof and luggage rack. Several items were stolen including a flat screen TV and remote control trucks. Picture is of the actual vehicle.
