Crime of the Week is released by Crime Stoppers once a week. This release has to do with a crime which is being highlighted by law enforcement for additional information. This release normally occurs on Tuesdays.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating the felony theft of a trailer and riding mower that occurred in the 100 block of E. Walnut St. right before midnight on August 19, 2015.

The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a dark color GMC or Chevrolet 4-dr., 4×4 truck with a crew cab, blacked-out windows and a lift kit. Stolen were a black utility trailer with white lettering on the tires and a black & yellow 25hp Zero-turn Kohler riding mower.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at Walmart on July 25, 2015.

Four suspects were seen removing a white 6050 BTU General Electric air conditioner from its box, replacing the empty box back on the shelf, then exiting through the garden center doors with the unit. Three of the four suspects are described as black females. The fourth is described as a black male. They were all captured on video surveillance and seen leaving in a black car.

Zachary is wanted for PWITD a CDS, 4th Offense Domestic Abuse Battery, Aggravated flight from an officer, and Violation of parole.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating the felony theft of a yellow 60” Hustler Super Z Zero Turn mower and two Kee push mowers stolen during the early morning hours of July 24, 2015, from Southwest Louisiana Community College (SLCC), located at 1933 W. Hutchinson Ave. An abandoned trailer that was stolen that same morning from the Crowley City Barn, located on Jack Mitchell Ave., was recovered at SLCC.

The suspect, described as male with a dark complexion, was seen on video surveillance driving a late model, white 4-door truck with an attached trailer.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the 1800 block of Canal St. sometime between July 22nd and July 25th, 2015.

It is believed that entry was made through the back door and once inside, unknown suspect(s) stole a PS4 and a flat screen TV, both black in color.

The Crowley Fire Department received reports of residential fires that occurred on W. 11th, Ross Ave., and William Egan Ave. during the night of July 13, 2015. The State Fire Marshal’s Office has determined these were arson.

Forced entry was made through the front door and once inside, unknown suspect(s) stole a large mahogany table, an antique bedside table, and several other items.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a homicide from April of this year.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating a homicide which occurred on Friday, April 3, 2015, at approx. 11:50 p.m. in the 300 block of West 2nd Street.

The victims were sitting in a vehicle on a parking lot of a business when they were approached by a black male subject and he began shooting in the vehicle.  The suspect then fled the scene in a dark color Buick in a westerly direction.

The Rayne Police Department is investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred during the early morning hours of May 31, 2015, in the 200 block of Edgewood St.

Entry was made into a 2010 Chevy truck and 2 handguns and cash were stolen. Two persons of interest and a 2000 model GMC/Chevy truck with a silver toolbox were captured on video surveillance.

Antonio Domino is described as a black male, 20, 5’9” in height, weighing 170 pounds, with short black hair. His last known address is 313 W. 5th St., in Crowley. Domino is wanted for Distribution of Crack Cocaine.

Joseph M. Jackson is described as a white male, 37, 5’11” in height, weighing 140 pounds, with short brown hair. His last known address is 115 Green St., in Crowley. Jackson is wanted for Possession of Crack Cocaine.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating the theft of a Motorcycle from the 300 block of S. Ave. N that occurred on June 6, 2015, between 2:00am and 6:00am. The motorcycle is a 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1, white in color with blue rims, with an R1 sticker and a stretch kit.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance and is described as a white male wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants, and slip-on sandals. His face and hands were covered.
