“Our officer’s continue to remain busy on the war against illegal narcotics” stated Chief K.P. Gibson. “The month of September was one of the busiest months involving narcotic cases cleared and October was not far behind it” stated Chief Gibson. “If our officer’s keep up at this pace, we a on schedule to see a 34% increase in the amount of cases cleared this year compared to last year. That is a scary increase. Imagine the cases that have not been cleared”.
During the month of October, twenty eight arrests have been made for a variety of narcotics violation. The following have been arrested and charged on narcotics violation:

8. Aaron Doucet, 19, Crowley: Possession of Schedule IV Narcotics
9. Johnava Bellard, 28, Crowley: Distribution of Hydrocodone
10. James Jones, Jr, 27, Crowley: Possession of Marijuana
