Crowley Police have experienced another wave of vehicle burglaries which occurred over night in the eastern portion of the city. In all, 8 vehicles were burglarized with assorted property taken.
Two persons believed to be the suspects in these cases were observed after 4:00 am wearing all black and gloves. These suspects were observed by witnesses in the area of North Ave N and Riceland Dr., however they were not located.
“We are asking the public to report any suspicious circumstances that they may see during the late night and early morning hours. Also remember that locks keep the honest people out. Criminals will find a way to break into vehicles. We need to keep valuables out of our vehicles to help reduce the chance of becoming a victim” stated Chief KP Gibson.
“Our detectives and patrol officers are working on these cases and we encourage anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS or Crowley Police at 783-1234” Stated Chief Gibson.
